Application:
planeo gypsum adhesive is ideally suited for bonding various facing brick slips made of gypsum and is basically suitable for indoor use. Due to its excellent adhesive strength, it is particularly good for our planeo StoneWall Solid stone slips.
Preparation of the substrate:
planeo plaster adhesive can be applied to any stable surface such as concrete, brick and plasterboard. The substrate should be clean and dry. If necessary, a primer can also be applied.
Preparation of the plaster adhesive:
planeo gypsum adhesive should be used in a clean container, as adhesive residues can shorten the curing time. Stir the adhesive thoroughly in water (1.6-1.9 l per 5 kg adhesive). Stir again after about 2 minutes and process within 45 minutes. Unstable mortars and coatings with insufficient adhesion must be removed.
Bonding:
The gypsum adhesive is applied to the back of the facing bricks (approx. 5 mm thick) in spots and pressed against the wall
.Excess adhesive should be removed from the joints.
Tools:
Required tools are a clean container, a stirrer and a spatula.
Storage:
planeo gypsum adhesive should be stored in sealed containers in a dry place. The storage time is about 12 months.
