Rigid Vinyl is a new development of classic vinyl flooring and is suitable for many applications. The main differences to classic vinyl flooring are the addition of stone powder in the carrier material. They ensure very robust and rigid properties. This is why the is also known as rigid board in technical jargon.

  • Dimensionally stable
  • The rigid board improves several properties of the vinyl flooring. Rigid vinyl is less sensitive to less sensitive to temperature fluctuations. At the same time, the expansion and shrinkage behaviour is greatly reduced. The SPC backing (stone powder composite) stabilises Rigid Vinyl against deformation.
  • Easy to renovate
  • The stable Rigid Board also allows large areas to be laid in one piece without transition profiles. Rigid Vinyl can also be laid over old floor coverings such as tiles, PVC, linoleum or old floorboards without extensive preparation.
