Terrace wood Cumaru
The wood of the Tonka tropical tree is one of the hardest woods in the world and has a high durability for outdoor use. For some years now, Cumaru has become more and more popular in the construction of more and more popular in terrace construction.
- Origin: South America (Brazil/Bolivia)
- Durability class: 1 (very durable)
- Quality: Prime (high quality control)
- Wood colour: Warm red-brown shade
- Wood structure: Alternating twisted growth (rough spots)
- Gross density: 1150 kg/m³
- Wood moisture: Technically dried to approx. 14-16%.
Notes:
- With a durability of up to 25 years in outdoor areas with very low maintenance requirements
- Due to the high density of wood and the dimensionally stable hardness, we recommend pre-drilling screw connections
- Wood is a natural building material. Natural colour differences, slight cupping, transverse curvatures and twisting may occur. This is no reason for complaint. This does not affect the durability and strength of the product.
Recommendation substructure: Aluminium, Angelim Pedra
