Installation of plain interior doors: 5 simple steps

1. First, you must establish the proper measurements. Use a spirit level to ensure that the wall is even. Then, measure the height from the floor and calculate the thickness of the walls with plaster and covering at the top, middle, and bottom. Consider the width of the wall tiles, as well as the height of the floor if it has not yet been installed.

2. For optimal assembly, leave the door and all other components in a horizontal position in the space provided for 48 hours. Always use the instructions included in your package for assembly.

3. To assemble the frame you will need glue, 2-component foam, screws, screwdrivers, spanners and, if necessary, wedges and wooden slats. The individual components are glued and screwed, and the wooden parts are inserted into the joints. The connections must be screwed into the correct holes in the frame. This is then secured using the included metal clips. Finally, use the frame clamp to ensure proper alignment and the 2-component foam to foam. After everything has set, you can start on the trimmings.

4. After installing the frame and decorative panel, the hinges are inserted, and the door can be hung.

5. Finally, attach the door handles using the included drilling templates for the door handles. Your internal door is already installed.
